What FeedGuard stores
- Your store's domain and the location you chose for inventory.
- Your feeds: their names, URLs, formats, column mappings, schedules and guardrail settings.
- Feed files you upload, kept for 30 days and then deleted.
- Run records: what each run read, what it changed, what it skipped, and the snapshot that lets you undo it.
- Product variant identifiers, SKUs, stock levels, prices and costs, read from your store to compute changes.
What it does not store
FeedGuard requests no access to orders or customers and does not store customer data of any kind.
When data is deleted
Uploaded feed files are deleted after 30 days. When you uninstall the app, everything stored for your store is deleted within 48 hours, when Shopify sends the uninstall notice.
Where data is processed
The app runs on a server in the United States.
Support mail you send to support@feedguardhq.com is received in our business mailbox; a copy is forwarded to our transactional mail provider so that a ticket can be filed and acknowledged within a minute. Support requests may be processed with AI assistance to prepare a reply, on operator-controlled hardware or through an AI provider's API, to the same standard as the operator reading their own business mailbox, and are never shared for any other purpose. Every reply is read and sent by a person.
Support messages are kept, with your store's identity replaced by a code and with no customer details, to improve the quality of replies. This retention survives uninstalling the app; write to support to have your messages removed.
Who runs it
FeedGuard is made and run by Ubuntu Life LLC. Write to support@feedguardhq.com for any question about your data.
